The Les Sources group has a unique history spanning more than twenty-five years, and is preparing for the future with panache.
Every winegrower aspires to create exceptional wines. A dream that always opens with a generous harvest, delivering perfect, balanced grapes that have reached perfect ripeness. Such years are rare and will be remembered forever.
For Alice and Jérôme Tourbier, there are two unforgettable dates. The first is the birth of Sources de Caudaliein Martillac, in 1999. Here, in the heart of the vineyards, the couple have created an estate whose stones and woods seem to date back to a bygone age.
Initially, 30 rooms, including a cabin on stilts, welcomed guests, along with two restaurants and a Vinothérapie® Spa, the only one of its kind in the world, drawing its water from a depth of 540 metres. La Maison has expanded over the years, with new rooms and suites and a wine bar. As for the restaurant La Grand'Vigne, it has been awarded a Michelin star in 2010, followed bya second in 2015. A year later, Les Sources de Caudalie became the first French Palace to open in the countryside. The initial ambitions of Alice and Jérôme Tourbier were overtaken and overhauled, but they were now ten times more ambitious than before. new vintage sprouts.
It will be Sources de Cheverny in 2020. In the Loire, another famous French wine-growing region, they are committed to respecting history by reinventing an eighteenth-century manor house and adding a number of contemporary chalets. The result is a "hamlet" of 49 exceptional rooms and suites, an Auberge with a wine bar and a "restaurant". Michelin-starred gourmet restaurant, Le Favori.
But why stop there? Experience and maturity are now motivating the couple to inaugurate coming soon two new addresses.
Visit Burgundyis to Gilly in the Côte-d'Or to renovate a heritage treasure from the 14th and 17th centuries. The listed site features a former abbey that is due to house 49 rooms and suites, a spectacular spa and two restaurants by 2025.
Finally, on theAlsaceLes Sources will be taking a step back in time with the Isenbourg Castlenot far from Colmar. The project, due to open in spring 2026, will include around fifty rooms and suites and various balneotherapy areas, including an impressive 25-metre-long swimming corridor nestling in a vaulted cellar!
